Appalachian Edge LLC carries collector and keepsake knives, hunting and fishing blades, everyday carry folders and kitchen cutlery — along with the sharpening systems, stones, leather sheaths and display cases to go with them.
Appalachian Edge LLC was started by a blue collar worker who loves knives and wants to introduce folks — young and old — to the traditions behind them. These pieces work as everyday carry tools, or as gifts that start a family collection. We sell knives for all different applications, plus the tools to keep them sharp and in good usable order.
Some of the old ways are still the best ways. A well-made knife, cared for properly, will outlast all of us.
Collector pieces, hunting and fishing blades, everyday carry folders and kitchen cutlery — different brands, styles and characters.
We carry the sharpening systems and stones to keep every blade in good, usable order, and we're glad to talk you through using them.
A knife marks a milestone like nothing else — graduations, weddings, first hunts, and collections handed down through a family.
Carry it, use it, sharpen it, pass it down.
— Appalachian Edge LLC

Meet the owner
Owner, Appalachian Edge LLC
My name is Ryan Jeffrey. I am a small town blue collar worker who enjoys knives. I am married to my high school sweetheart and together we have two daughters. I am an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, and camping.
I believe that some of the old ways of doing things are the best ways, and that traditions are worth keeping alive for future generations. Knives are a big part of that Appalachian tradition — everything from an everyday pocket carry to the blade you use to field dress and cut up the game or fish you harvest.
Knives are also a great gift to commemorate life milestones and make wonderful family heirlooms. I want future generations to enjoy the rich heritage of a good knife and learn how to use it.

The heritage
Knives are a big part of Appalachian life — everyday pocket carry, field dressing game, cleaning fish, working around the farm and the shop. That heritage is worth handing to the next generation.
Appalachian Edge LLC exists to put good knives in more hands, and to teach folks how to keep them sharp and use them safely.
